| Luck doesn't really have much to do with getting a trip as a choc, just don't be a shitfight and you'll more than likely get a spot. However, with ANODE winding down, there's not going to be much on the cards for anyone in the Reserves, trip wise at least. Unless you posess a language or some other ... |

| ... take work off whenever a course is available + you actually get on the panel then you could be fully qualified within 6 months. Wont get you on an anode trip any faster, as stated they are run at Brigade level, if your Brigade doesn't have trip on the horizon then the only chance is if the Brigades ... |

See my post on the OSB thread reference the abysmal state of reserve junior officer retention.
There's a few choc subbies floating around who have been lucky, got themselves on some mega exercises and astute/anode - but for the majority its exactly as described here. |
